Exercise is Medicine

A Parkinson's diagnosis changes many things—but it doesn't change the fact that movement matters. In fact, regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to help manage Parkinson's disease and maintain independence.

Research has consistently shown that exercise can improve mobility, balance, strength, flexibility, posture, and overall quality of life. It may also help reduce common symptoms such as stiffness, slowness of movement, fatigue, and difficulty walking. Just as importantly, staying active can boost confidence, improve mood, and help people continue doing the activities they enjoy.
